Engine Restorations

Engine building is not for the feint hearted and can end up going disastrously(and sometimes very expensively!) wrong.So why not leave your engine building and restoration to the Honda professionals?

We vapour blast and check all castings for cracks or damage. All wear items are checked and replaced or refurbished ensuring that the engine is re-built to effectively be a new unit.

Engine cases are re-finished to the original, or when specified to a special finish, like the CBR250RR MC22 unit in the image which was given the 'Magnesium' look, more suitable for the RC163 race-replica it was being fitted to.

So whether you need a 1958 C71 250 or a 1998 MC22 250 rebuilding, we can offer a service that is second to none. Our attention to detail even goes as far as making our stainless steel fasteners used on the engine to look like the old standard zinc plate. The only difference is that unlike the old zinc plate the finish is there for the life of the engine!

Now that is attention to detail!

On receipt of the engine we will give an estimate of the overall cost of restoration. We will proceed after receiving a 50% deposit from the customer. If any unforseen expenses occur, such as internal welding to crankcase or major crankshaft restoration then we will inform you before proceeding any further.
