Honda CB125SS
After a lot of hard work we have now completed a customers very rare Honda CB125 Supersport. Although restored to as new condition, the customer in this instance specified a few modifications to enhance this very pretty machine. The mods are as follows:
Replacing the 4-speed gearbox with a five speed cluster
All fasteners, spindles, headstock bearing adjuster, front fork lower cover ribs and many other small parts that would otherwise have been zinc plated all re-manufactured in stainless steel.
Wheels built using polished stainless steel spokes. Even the seat 'buttons' are made in stainless.
All this allows the machine to be ridden, even if it rains without losing that better than showroom finish.
*Footnote: The owner has sold this machine for a record £9000.00. The highest ever for a road going Honda 125cc machine! Just goes to show that obsessive attention to every last detail makes all the difference to potential values of rare classic Honda's like these. If you would like a show winning restoration on your classic Honda why not give us a ring or drop us an email?
